Well did you tap a line to get the power? Did you maybe break the line instead bya ccident? Check the ground. Look over all the wiring you moved and make sure its properly connected. Also... check your fuses and never work with the battery connected.

If you blew a fuse which it sounds like you did, look in the manual for fuses. There's a room fuse in the driver's kick panel, the fuse puller is under the hood in that fuse box. Pull the room fuse and see if the one inside it okay. I'm thinking however that it's probably the fuse for "room" under the hood. I blew that fuse once, radio didn't work, no interior lights worked, etc. You can pick up a fuse like the one under the hood at Advanced Auto I know, wal-mart etc. didn't have it. Just look at the fuses, see if the metal in them goes from one side to the other or if it's burned in two in the middle, it needs replacing. Does this clear it up for you or do you need more details?
no i didnt hear it, but i mean if it wasnt attached very well. If its not fully attached will it make the whole car not work. And yes i worked with the battery disconeected. please help.
well i decided it was probably the room fuse. i looked through the mazda manual and couldnt find it. any help?

EDIT: OK I FOUND THE FUSE> all things are good. Trunk neon still doesnt work. But w/e.
