So i have read a number of posts on this topic, and I would like to know how difficult it is to take off the bumper, and convert Halogens to HID. I have a 2009 M6 4 cyl manual Touring.

My left halogen low-beam is out now, and I tried going through the wheel well... my hands are too big to navigate through to the back of the headlight, so i gave up before i broke something.

So if someone could help explain how to take off the bumper, and then how to remove the headlight housings, and to change the bulb... also, where to attach the ballast on each side?

I would greatly appreciate any help... Thanks!!

i found it easier to pull the wheel off. after the wheel was off it was piece of cake. i actually called the dealer to find out how they did it and that was how they do it too.
