Mazda 6 runs nice & cool in hot weather(live in Dallas, tx ) . 4 days ago the tepreture was 19 degree , and temp gauge showed hot, yet heater started blowing cold , i changed the coolant and put 70/30 antifreeze everything was fine till it's got cold again yesterday and the temp gauge showed hot again ,and the heater blowing cold air , is it something related to the thermostat ?

had the same problem with my old Eagle talon the thermostat had actually bent and wasnt working properly it was an easy fix and only took about half an hour
