Whats up guys, im just looking to purchase a new system in about a month or so, so its no big rush.

To give u details, i know next to nothing about what you guys know, i know the back speakers are only midrange and the fronts are full and its a b1tch to work with the non-bose system (in which i am running)

-But i just want a system that will sound good & will have some bump to it if i want to turn it up.
-I would love to keep it under $400 before tax and crap like that ( yer probably thinking dream on, but what do i know )
- And i also want to keep trunk space to, so i would want 1 sub that i could just build a box and mount in the corner and an amp in the other corner or on the side wall.
- And i just want crisp, clean music.

i Mean if u guys could give me some brands and speakers i should look at (definately not top of the line, but much better than stock and u can hear a difference.) that would be great. I was also wondering if i ran a sub with an integrated amp like the infinity could that hook up to my speakers as well.

Also give me a price im lookin at to for the products u recomend.

As long as you don't try to do anything with the rears, the non-bose isn't as much of a pain to work with as the Bose can be. :)

$400 is gonna be tough if you want to upgrade to a sub, amp, and do something with your front soundstage, but let me see what kind of a package I can put together. Assuming you do all the work yourself...

http://www.cardomain.com/item/ECLSW5124BX - $149.98
http://www.cardomain.com/item/CLAAPX2120 - $104.98

Figure around $30 for an installation kit:

and you have your sub for $280ish

That leaves raound $120 for a really great set of door speakers if you want to run them off of deck power.

Direct fit, good price, but speakers you should listen to and choose yourself, just an example of something you could get in your budget.

http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIOTSD681R - $99.95

Leaves $20ish left over for supplies, tax, shipping, etc...

That's just one option, there are many other things you could do within your budget.

Car Domain is an authorized dealer for everything they sell (which is why I chose to use them in this example ;) )

elementaldesigns.com - type "forum" in the search.
11kv.2 sub - $65
edi 6000 v.2 6.5" components - $95
Nine.2 amp - $175

wires from knukonceptz.com
4ga amp kit - $26

Total $361

Not sure what it will cost for a single sub box would cost. Probably use the $40 left over to buy materials to build one.
