Hey people. I just bought the XCarlink Ipod Integration system and i need to get to the back of the head unit. Now do i remove the entire head unit? Like where the three middle vents are and below or just the middle part where buttons are?? let me know thanks

Um easy way might be to follow the Metra kit instructions.

It's not too hard using the Metra instructions. Though, I'd use a little caution as I scratched some of the factory plastics as I was goofing around with it. Just looks a little unsightly now.

Also, the mounts for the seats do an INCREDIBLE job of scratching up the interior when you're removing them.

and not to forget the exposed thread of the shifter... I always screw my shifter back on when possible...
