Yesterday I went to get my state inspection done and the S.O.B. fat @$$ scratched my dash with his razor...

On top of that, I went to rub it to get rid of the scratch (yeah, i know... dumb move.) and the paint came off!!!

So now there is a 1.5, 2 inch spot on the dash with no paint on it and it's killing me!

I'm thinking maybe the whole piece comes off so I can paint it.

Please help guys, its not the main frame of the dash, its the tiny little piece right below the windshield.

BTW, I don't know if it plays any difference.. I have a 2005 Mazda 6i Hatch

Did you confront them on this? I would've lost it. I'd demand they paid to fix it, and if they give you any shit, I'd tell them you're going to call your state's attorney general, amongst other things. I'd run it by your insurance company as well.

Yea I know guys they made the two scratches that are visible if you look closely; But I made it much worse by rubbing it. They are just gona say they arent going to do anything because I rubbed it.

Does anyone know how to take that piece out of the car

Why would you tell them that you rubbed it? They did the initial damage....they cover it. End of story.
