I am curious, again concerning testing a MS6, I noticed that of the four "lights" that make up the headlight, the third one starting from the outside does not do anything (i.e. no lights). Is that normal? It is a GT version with seperate fog lights underneath the main headlights.

Did anybody notice that?

that is normal it is just there for i guess looks

Before Mazda updated the 6 in 2006, that empty spot was for the fog light. It was never located on the lower bumper.

that's normal, just the dummy foglight! unless you want it to be functional like mine

I have been thinking of getting rid of the lower lights or coverting them to driving lights so that would be perfect for me

i found a set of intergrated fogs from and 03 mazda6 and they are fit perfectly fine in the speed6 housing, the only thing you need is connect the" +and -" wire for it...
also you need the adjuster from the regular 6 and mod it into the dummy foglight adjuster from the MS6...If you want i can do the walk thru for you guys!

yup. just get a set of headlights off a 03-05 GT. i have them stock, but never use them since they dont match my HID's.
