Ok I have everything installed according to the instructions and when I press the media button, nothing happens. Not even a beep.

Pressing CD wait 2 secs press FM wait one sec press CD does nothing. Pressing CD twice does nothing. The ipod does charge while its connected.

I'm thinking there could possible be a problem where I have to splice the CANL and CANH wires in to the factory wire harness. idk.


I wasn't expecting to have to be doing any wire splicing when I bought the thing.

Do you have a 2005? Cause mine won't work either, so if anyone helps know you might be helping out two people.

you have to contact grom to get the box replace, when i first bought mine it didn't work either, then i contacted grom,they send me a new box and it work like a champ......

mine is 06 speed6 with bose, if that info help you a bit..

I sent a request for support to grom. Hopefully thats just it.

Better than paying some audio installer $90 to fix it or to just tell me its bad.

no, they just sent me a file so I can install the correct firmware via the usb port.
