Hey guys/gals,

I had purchased a 2007 6I Hatchback about 6 months ago and love it.

I am looking to do some mods once spring rolls around, mainly wheels and a tint job.

I have a bit of an oddball question, I'm not sure if it has already been discussed.

I am not a big fan of the antenna on the 6's that stick out like a sore thumb. Does anyone make a shark fin that would replace the stock antenna? And would it compromise the quality of the reception?

I did a search and there's a thread where we did a group buy of the VG Shark Fin Antenna from RPM.

I don't know about how well it works as this was before I joined and I'm not a big fan of the shark fin.

the vg one is pretty good....they come painted to match ur car...they r about 80 bucks. u should thank kadowson....they will probably have another gb on them soon...happens every few months. it does sorta compromise sound quality sometimes so its kinda a give and take thing...its also ur personal taste. kadowson doesnt like the shark fin style but i love it...hope this helps. welcome to the fam.

It's not that I don't like them, but I see them all over the place. They actually look pretty cool but I'm looking for something a little more distinct...that's one reason I got the 6, I don't see alot of them all over my parts like I do Grand Am/Prix, Camry, Accords, Malibu, Fusion, etc. The 6 is just all around sportier/cooler.

and the shark fin gives it a sportier look! see i got a 6 cuz its safe and modable and a really good price for the car that u get.
