So I am looking at getting some new wheels and I want a good quality performance wheel on a budget so I found these. I have heard great things about Rays/Gram Lights and was wondering what you guys thought.

Gram Lights 57 Ultimate Gunblue Wheel 18X8.5 5X114.3

I was going to go the 245/40/18 ET+45 route with rolling in the back.

 $400 for one wheel? what planet are you from where 400 dollars is inexpensive? :p

They look good, but resemble the Scion Tc wheel too much for my taste :D

I guess you guys never heard of volk racing before. These are quite popular tbh. They are forged wheels. Which means they are very light and very strong. For 1600, thats pretty standard for forged wheels. Heh. My friends has em on his rx7, paid 2100 for them.

@Supersprynt. HAHA 400 total?? What you got? some cast, heavy, rotas? Made in China POS?

I like gram lights and volks. I am considering getting rid of my Works for some Volks. I am not a fan of this style on our car though. Good choice in brand. The price isn't that bad and I got my works from Vivid but if you could spend a little more you could get a nice 3 piece wheel by Volk.

Which wheel would you recommend? I would love to go Volk considering thats the flag ship brand.

Pick a design you like.

I personally like rays engineering because they have alot of designs I like.

Never really like much of BBS stuff. Just not my taste.

I am not a fan of BBS either because it's a little too euro for our cars. I like BBS on VW, Audi, etc. Rays owns Volk, Gram lights and G-Games I believe. The wheel I am thinking of going to is the Volk GT-V. Some things to consider though is color of car and just personal taste.

I have been on this forum for a couple years now. BTW

I'm personally getting a set of Gram Lights 57-s Pro's 18x8.5 +23 offset. I had a custom set of Volks on my FD and loved them. Rays forged are best you can buy for a budget forged set, and they have great range of selection. If you really wanna get some super-sexy shoes, get some CCW classics :p

Well the CCW Classics are not my style but damn I like their stuff. Any of you guys know about CCW? Looks like they are great for the money I mean for forged wheels they look awesome.

Never a fan of "split spoke" style wheels. Gram Lights are good quality rims,
and what YOU think is MOST important as far as looks go.
How the rim LOOKS to me on my car is most important. I don't track/race my car.

Get a rim that best suits your needs, and that you can look at every day.
If you're all about brand name, get sponsored, and get the REAL GOOD stuff!
