Thankyou for those kind words, But I am definately not in over my head, one of my last cars was a sub 5 second Nissan 300zx kickin 450 bhp. Noted about the comments about putting it in gear, but this still doesn't help me in sourcing ungraded exhaust dump valves etc. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

That is a common problem with all parking brakes. If you ever go to any performance driving event they will specifically tell you not to put on your parking brake after a long run and ask that you chock your car.HI, I have just bought my first Mazda 6 MPS. It's a great car but a few problems with the dealer. I had a problem, that after I had been for a quick blast, I parked my car on a small gradient applying the handbrake correctly, to coming out an hour later to find my car 20 yards down the road in a wall. After taking it back to the dealer, I was told that due to my brakes heating up, I had applied the handbrake and the brakes cooled off slackening the brakes and it was able to move. They fixed it free of charge, but surely they need to fit vented brakes or something to resolve this problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
Has anyone any advice to make my MPS quicker? and can anyone recommend an appropriate dump valve/ waste gate? and finally is there any way I can get the AWD to stay on all the time?
NB I am in the UK
Cheers
