New to the forums and looking for a dual exhaust for my speed6. I've been reading different post and watching videos about exhaust and it looks like GHL has the best sound. Does anyone know who has the best price.

Street Unit has it for $775 here GHL MS6 Dual Catback
I picked mine up used, but they were going for a grand a year ago. The price came down like 6 months ago or something at SU. The RPM store's current price is $995 for the GHL dual cbe!

You think the GHL sounds better then the Corksport? I cant make my mind up and its driving me INSANE. I love the rough sound of the GHL, it sounds like it would give a nice grumble sound. IDK!! ANY OPINIONS?
Not trying to tread jack lol, at least he answered your question quick :)

Yeah I'm in the market for an exhaust too. Are there any fitment issues with the GHL? like rattling like some of the other exhausts. Also is a resonator a good idea? bc SU sells two of them. one is a resonator with a pipe ($300) and one is a weld-in resonator which is much cheaper. Which one is better?

Wondering the same about the sound and rattles of the GHL. Also, SU seems to have the price back up at around a cool G.

Hot damn. Noob overload.
The Corksport can be adjusted to where it does not rattle, in the event there is a rattle present after install. It's not a huge deal.
The CS system (80mm) is only slightly larger in diameter than the GHL (76.2mm).
The general consensus is the GHL system may be a bit less droney, raspy and loud. I can't vouch for this, as I've never heard the GHL system in person.

I say save some coin and pick up the CS system. It's very well crafted, sounds awesome and is a product from a great company.

every 3 inch exhaust made for this car drones at some rpm. Resonator or not, you will have drone with a 3 inch.

I used to have the CS exhaust. I had so much drone that I had a GHL resonator welded in. It did nothing as it has very little supression material inside. I took it off and put the oem exhaust back on - so.... much... better.

If I had to do it over again i would just go with a catted down pipe and leave the factory cat back in place.

you can't make this motor sound like a small block chevy or even a subaru boxer 4.

I agree.
Except for the catted part...

If you want quiet, stick with the factory system. The OE mufflers are remarkable at...muffling.
There's little power upgrade to be had anyway, with any modification made post catalyst.
I've heard a couple Speed6's that had an aftermarket DP with the facrory exhaust. It was nice and quiet until you stood on it.
But, I think a 3" TBE on this car sounds awesome. I enjoy its loudness. Not so much the drone. But, what do I care? I drive the car like 10 miles/week.

Get a Magnaflow system. They are 2.5" diameter, right?

I don't know which is droniest. But, I can tell you mine sure as shit is droney.
I have a CS DP, TXS RP, and CS CBE. Don't go this route if you want quiet.

For sure! Ive heard it works pretty well.
I like it loud, though. Half the reason I drive
My car is just to listen to it. Lol!
Also, I know their insanely fat resonator wouldn't fit under my heavily lowered car. :)
