What does everybody use to attach wiring to a fuse?
I want to get power to an added device and I was wanting to get fused power. They make clips for the bigger fuses, but I haven't seen anything for the smaller fuses on a Mazda.
May not be the answer your looking for, but when I wired in my radar detector I just wrapped the wire around the fuse prong, and shoved it back in the socket. Its been in there for at least 8 months with no problems.
Just a thought, can you use an in-line fuse? Only reason I ask is because wrapping a wire around a tooth of a fuse and shoving it back in sounds like a hack job. Sure it works, and it might work forever, but there's something to be said for workmanship and pride.
Thats what I use. I have my radar detector and sirius starmate hard wired both that way! Looks a lot cleaner than just wrapping around the fuse, and you get protection as well.
