I got the MTX serviced at 60k miles last week, and I used the fluid,Ford Genuine Fluid XT-M5-QS Full Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid, which is pretty good and removed the notchiness in the first gear.

However, I'm a little concerned about the fluid is slightly out of the spec, the specs for this particular fluid is 75w-90 gl-4 whereas the OEM spec is 75w-80 gl-4.. so my question is it okay for the MTX for like next 40k miles?

I am by no means an oil expert but i'm fairly certain that 75-90 should just be slightly thicker than 75-80 that being the only difference I wouldn't think it could hurt a manual transmission if anything it might be slightly better if you live in a warmer climate.
