I didn't care for the ugly-ass appearance of my spare tire well, and so I decided the best fix was an old school fix- Trunk paint

Mines got the plastic cover, the mat, and the cargo tray (in the winter) over top of it. Yeah, I'm not worried about it being seen.

Nope; I wore a clown outfit and told jokes the entire time. 30 minute special should be on Comedy Central some time this Spring.

Hahaha, nice. I'll keep my eye out for the special. ;)

But anyway, thanks for the pictures. I'm considering this too.

I used Dupli-color spatter paint from O'Reilly's. Cell-phone pics in early morning shadows don't show that the color turned-out totally uniform. Very glad I did it.
