you'll def notice the difference, especially from the DP. I feel the hypertech tuner is limited, it's just the one flash, where as the AP you do some fine tuning. Each car is a little different so the AP allows you dial in. Plus if you don't have a DH you'll be able to log all the important aspects I.E fuel pressure, kr, LTFT ect.

Exactly what I was thinking...Anyone feel a need for a write-up of one of the installs for these? I'll give it a shot, but I've never done a writeup before. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. Hopefully this will put an end to the mods on this, at least for a while

@h.h.
How do you monitor/log your changes? Dashhawk?

regardless of tune method used, when making changes you want to carefully watch the results those changes have as was mentioned before. If you don't have a monitoring tool, I would suggest deciding on a monitoring method and add that cost to your purchase plans.

All that aside, I have understood that the dp/ic combo pack will be enough to out run your HPFP. Again, as was already stated above- watch your fuel pressure!

I /think/ your outgrowing your hypertech.

my thought on writeups is that I can never have enough. Every time someone does one it adds another perspective to the install. When read that someone else did a DP install it makes me feel more confident about doing one of my own.

So hell ya take some pics if you want and tell us your experience!

I too feel like i'm outgrowing the hypertech. Sad thing is, I've had it for only 3 months lol. I don't have a DH so no way of monitoring anything. I guess I'll be selling the hypertech here pretty soon and be gettin an AP.
