can any help me figure this one out ??? check engine light came on ,car was chuging on and off.changed plugs. not as bad,but still doing it.wondering if the coil should be changed.or can it be something else. then used a scanner then it shows evap sign on it, so its on border line of not passing emissions.

I cannot say this is a for sure fix but try decreasing the gap on your spark plugs.

Try switching your plug to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves to that cylinder. If it doesn't, try switching your coil to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves to that cylinder. If the misfire doesn't move, you have eliminated the plug and coil as culprits.
