i would like to know if this sounds normal to you? to me, it's kinda loud. anything i can do to reduce the noise?

sounds like mine, unfortionately, service manager keeps insisting its just the ingectors and everything is fine. *cringes*

Sounds "normal" to me for a DISI engine with quite a few miles on it. The injectors fire with 100VDC and are LOUD. I do detect other things like a slight valve clearance tick, the timing chain running over the teeth, etc. IMO, it's all normal sounds though. There is nothing you can do about it, other than running a lot of sawdust in the oil.....

Salt+winter my friend! It turns metal to shit within 2 years. And yes I sprayed some goo for anti seize.

You all laugh about this but there are people out there dumb enough to try it.
