I recently had to take the drivers door apart to fix the window that had fallen down inside my door. After I fixed that, my remote central locking stopped working. I traced this problem back to it being a blown door fuse and replaced it. It worked for a day and then blew again. I have now replaced it two more times and it keeps blowing. What could be causing this??

You could have a wire that is being shorted. I suggest that you dismantle the door again and check every connection and wires. It is possible that you have a wire with broken insulation.

Thank you! Yes I do have a wire with insulation that has broken. I didn't realise that could cause the fuse to blow. I'll fix it!
