Replacing the original bulb with an LED (T10 194). The bulb works but as hard as I push, it will not go all the way in.

I didn't force the issue, put the originals back in, no problem, and did the next best thing, posted on the forum.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Its too big; the 194 is spec'd at being t3.25 (tubular, and 3.25/8" diameter ~0.4") and a t10 is over 3 times wider.

Also, do note that some folks have toasted their (rear?) BCM (Body Control Module) replacing their trunk lights. I personally would not do ANY bulb replacement without pulling the negative battery terminal first. Just saying...

Others, pls chime-in: is there any potential for damaging the BCM with a non-stock bulb?
