To those of you who live overseas and have the Hatchback, did you drive both the Sedan and that Hatch versions before making your decision to get the Hatch?

Does the Hatch have more road noise and rattling, etc. than the Sedan?

Marla, it's almost guaranteed that the hatch will have some additional road noise over the sedan. You have less sound isolation from the rear of the car, it's bound to happen. How much, I'll leave to the owners to tell.

My hatch is dead quiet. I test drove the sedan, and own the hatch. But haven't driven them back to back to tell. I did get rust protection, heat and sound insulation applied to the bottom of my car though... so maybe that's why my hatch is really quiet.

No rattles at all.

There is a little bit more noise, but it's not substantial. Hardly noticable, in fact.

What DOES sound more is if you have loose things rolling around in the trunk. But you shouldn't have that.

And the hatch has anchor points for cargo, the sedan doesn't. :)
