hey guys, i was out trying to de-badge the back end of my car tonight. i got the "6" and "V6" off just fine. is the word "mazda" bolted on? working from the end i got through the "a" and got hung up right before the "d". i don't want to break it so i backed off. anyone else tried this?

it comes off, just use some fishing line or fine string to kindof saw it back and forth

u cant remove the ''mazda'' emblem, there is holes behind it...

On the 1st gen 6, there's nothing behind it. You can remove it just like the "6". The only badge held in place with pins in the actual Mazda symbol in the top middle of the trunk.



Whether or not it's the same on the 2nd gen...you're guess is as good as mine. Buuuut, I'd say no if I had to guess. I don't have a clue as to why they'd change the design.

Thanks for the imput. I gave it a bit more muscle there is deffinately a bolt or plug or something like DrLove was saying. Its a shame the shaved look always looks good.

yeah the debadge look would be awsome on this car (except the M emblem) I dont know why they put a hole there for the ''mazda'' when the ''6'' and ''V6'' dont have holes!!
