You may not know but Mazda has a factory warranty available for all their vehicles that protect against itre and rim damage. Ther is no deductible and will cover any damage to tire or rim EXCEPT curb rash and normal wear and tear. Coverage has terms for up to 5 years. I used mine on my 06 wagon gt and had 2 rims 18" and Pirelli p6000 tires replaced for free. More than paid for the cost of the plan call your local stealer. I paid 400 for my 5 year plan. Most Important it is directly from Mazda.
