DaBears2K/Matt Kriegsfeld Group Buy Possible SCAM

I am posting out of frustration and to warn others about Matt Kriegsfeld aka DaBears2k (KRIEGSFELD.COM, Phoenix AZ Butler).

It is my hope that this will call him out and he'll fess up to his negligence. Or at the minimum post an update, because it is unfair to those waiting to be left guessing. Ultimately, it is my hope this moves him to complete the group buy as promised.

He conducted a group buy that started on July 26th and to this date October 27th has not been completed. There are no more updates on this group buy even though he logs on everyday and several of us have tried to get ahold of him. It seems to follow the classical SCAM pattern of telling people the delays are out of their hands, followed by ignoring attempts at contact.

A total of 3 months have passed and we have been patient, even in the face of his silence. I don't think we are being unreasonable here by asking for some answers.

The group buy is for $15 each, but I find it inexcusable to just leave people hanging. Myself, I put in two orders so its $30 for me. Any attempts at asking for a refund or update have been met with silence. Every week I see someone posting in the GB thread, but nothing from Matt.

Whether it is $15 or $150 each, responsibility must be taken for his negligence and conducting this group buy poorly.

If anyone knows Matt Kriegsfeld, let him know we are not happy. If we have been indeed screwed over, I hope he never forgets that he screwed over 13+ people.

Someone who claims to know it all about our beloved Mazda6, needs to get his act together.

August 28 + - All PMs go unanswered, no reponses to emails or phone calls.

October 26th - Still no answers to PM. Silence. DaBears2K dodges all PMs posts and emails.

Alot of unanswered questions.

- No refunds being given.
- What about the order placed on August 28th.... Almost 2 months ago.
- No new updates.

We've all been patient through this, its about time DaBears2k/Matt Kriegsfeld throws us a bone.
If I am out of line, it is only because you have gone into classical silent scammer mode.

Please respond!!!

What's going on? Drama across the 6club forums have erupted into liquid hot magma! I remember reading on this GB and was going to participate in it. Everyone seemed to get an empty bottle because of shipping reasons for liquid products. Don't know the facts on it though, that's what kills. Being he has been a member for awhile and although it has been to everyone's knowledge he is somewhat a "meaner," I'm sure he'll come out and update. He doesn't seem like a "SCAMMER" anyways.

I don't know that I'd call it a scam either... just yet. DaBears2k is a long time member and a active poster. Just give him the benefit of the doubt that he WILL keep his word!

Well for him to make it alright he has to shell out over 100 dollars of his own money to rebuy and ship the new merchandise! The question to ask" is he willing to loose money to make us happy or are you guys "understanding the situation that it wasnt really his fault" gonna be the bigger man and send him another 15 dollars to make things right??!! Or even take the 15 dollar loss??!

I doubt it was set up as a scam too... probably just something that's not easy to remedy... worse case its $15 at least its not $150, lol.
[/b]
It's not just $15.00, its 13 x $15.00. I pm'ed him asking for a refund ($30.00) and he never gave me a reply he comes on and doesn't even post a up date on the GB. At this point I don't even want the spray I just want my money.

keep in mind that he has no way to contact via the forums for the time being. his account was suspended last week. I wouldn't call this a scam by any means, as plenty have already recieved what was ordered. maybe a miscommunication or error, but not a scam.

Thanks MrTea.

+1

If he was scamming he'd go out with a bang like PRacing is. He's getting what. 3-6 grand out of that one?
[/b]

Well he's already lost his profit and now a few hundred from his wallet. When I sold things to members here I left the money in the account until I received a pm saying they were happy and left it there 5 more days just in case they changed their minds.

Thanks for reminding me I got money in that too.

I just received word that he is still awaiting the product and will ship as soon as he gets it in. He says there is currently no ETA, but is still calling weekly for updates. I'll keep you all in the loop.

From an outsider (working at Office Depot, which has a UPS station) depending on what company he shipped with, certain liquids are not always permissable to be sent through mail so insurance would not cover (nor could he claim) them. If the liquids proved to be flammable, then they *really* would not be claimable.

Not to mention, even if they were claimable under some insurance then he could not have packed them. Most sender packed packages are not easily claimed under insurance such as that offered by UPS.

I have no opinion as to whether this was a scam or not... simply stating for those who do not know.

+1 to the drinking alone. So sad on a Friday night (slightly less so on any other night).

This is just MHO, but I think people (not targeted at the author of this thread in specific) are being way too eager to cry "scam" on here when their products don't arrive. Accusing someone of scamming could easily defame them, causing damage financially and otherwise. If untrue--if it's simply an inexperienced business person or someone with a limiting factor--that would be unfortunate.

Perhaps these things should be discussed first, either with the moderators or as a forum. It's just not healthy to accuse people of scamming for money without SOME kind of proof other than 3 months and no product. If that were enough, everyone ordering 6Club stickers would have a case! :D

why was his account suspended?
[/b]
besides the point, has nothing to do with his GB organization or execution.

I didn't participate in the GB, but like so many others want to insert my $.02. Given the circumstances I don't think people are being too eager. The circumstances being: 3 months no product (come one thats a damn long time for air freshner), no updates to thread, and no response to PMs. I think based on what these guys are saying if he had just posted updates, or responded and let them know what was going on then things would be fine. If someone wants to run a business then they need to provide products paid for, or if there are events beyond their control at least update ppl. True perhaps saying 'scammer' isn't right, perhaps shitty ass businessman is more accurate. I know he's helped here a lot with info and such, and with this and other GBs (I think), but that nor the fact its only $15 matters. He took people's money for a service/product and hasn't delivered in a reasonable time.

Let's just leave it to the Moderators and Matt himself.....it's not anyone's business besides the people who bought from him, and whoever else he would like involved. Go back and read what Stealth01 wrote, I HONESTLY BELIEVE it's a more professional way of handling things. Everytime you look at a thread topic with "your name"/SCAM, it's not cool at all, especially when you've dedicated your time to helping many people good or bad in this forum.
