Custom Interior: Onyx Black '06

Im looking to give my interior a little flare. Something to separate it from the crappy stock cloth. I have an Onyx Black 2006 Mazda 6, with blue LED lights inside. Should I look for all black leather, black and blue leather, or some other color/pattern scheme? Also, where would i look to purchase some leather kits and where/who would install it?

thank you

Don't go with a blue black scheme like the Legacy GT spec B. That is just ugly.
I wouldn't go with the black/blue leather either, unless you have like a lapis6 it would just look weird. Black/black, black/grey would look nice, MAYBE black/light blue if you want that blue shade.

Leatherseats.com was doing a group buy for seats awhile back. It seemed like everyone was satisfied with their purchase. I'm still awaiting their next GB. :(

Not sure but installation shouldn't be that hard. It seems like you just pull off your stock seats and put in the leather ones, anywhere should be able to do this.

If your car's black on the outside, you may think about a black/tan color scheme inside. Mine's black/tan inside and it's not bad looking.

And if you think the 2006 cloth seats are bad, you should see the past years' fabric choices.
i personally like the black with white two tone look i think it looks amazing. leatherseats.com is the best place to purchase the leather kit and some have had trouble installing it but it is doable by the everyday person. if you were to do it yourself you would also have to purchase the instalation kit they have on their site.
It really depends on the look you are going for. For my Onyx 6 I wanted the black out look. I already had the black leather interior so I painted the dash and door trim pieces gloss black like the exterior, dyed the pillars, map pockets, and plastic pieces throughout the car, and had the headliner swapped for a black one of my liking.

I have black leather with a very light silver insert. The color matches the inside roof of the car and looks awesome. Very clean and slick. I would recommend it. My car is black as well.
I have an Onyx Black 6s and it has the stock black leather. I love the look. Its just my opinion but all black looks much better than the 2 tone. Good luck with yours.

Maybe black and a gray, but not too dark and consider getting the center console painted the same color as the gray.It would really offset it all and look great, and if you do it with the doors too, it will look amazing.

I am interested in doing the same thing but how do you get the pieces off to paint?
