As many of you know, we've been trying to find a reliable source for this grille for some time now. Back in July 2005, we were able to get 10 of these grilles from Japan, but had trouble getting more from the same manufacturer, UNTIL NOW!

These custom badgeless sport grilles are styled after the factory Mazda sport grille, but with the large 'flying M' symbol removed. The result is a very clean, attractive look which makes this design very popular.

The grille is made of gel-coated fiberglass, and should be professionally painted.

We do not have a replacement grille for the Mazdaspeed 6 at this time!

PRICING

The normal pricing for the grilles will be as follows:

2003-2005 Mazda 6: $159.95
2006-2007 Mazda 6: $169.95

The group buy will provide a $10.00 discount until August 13, 2007. These prices include shipping within the continental United States. Shipping to Canada will be US$20.00. Use the shipping quote code: 3XD4X

We have grilles in stock right now. If you order unpainted, your grille will ship right away. Painted grilles will take about a week to ship, as they will need to be painted first.

So is it 'painted' or gel-coated to match? Is it painted over the gel-coat?
As long as the fit is good, I am interested! Thanks

Nope, I have the MintBlue badgeless grille back when Heronew offered it. That's why I said people shouldn't complain about the price when the MintBlue was like $250-275 unpainted.

Gel-coating is a way of finishing a fiberglass product. It creates a smoother and more durable finish. The paint and clear is then applied to the gel-coat surface when the product is painted.

so I'm guessing this new GB has no intention of doing anything for us MS6 guys? I know there were talks of getting that done in the previous GB thread - well, once the other 6 "issues" were resolved.... I'm still down for a CF MS6 grill that doesn't cost $400..... possibly wishful thinking I guess.... but worth a shot... :yesnod:

Nothing planned at this point. If I find something reasonable, I'll definitely offer it.

Also, these things are flying off the shelves. I only have one grille left for 2003-2005. Once it's gone, I'll still take pre-orders, but it will be another 3-4 weeks before the next shipment arrives.

I wouldn't be complaining when the MintBlue grille used to cost around $250 unpainted.[/b]

I wouldnt call it complaining. Dissapointed...egh maybe a lil. Thats a lot of money for something so small. Im just looking at it like i could get sideskirts for that price... or the grill.
