The CEL is eliminated if the Injen is accompanied with the Mafci fix.

The CPE system will yield a little bit more power than the Injen/Mafci fix, but not that much. Most people wouldn't be able to "feel" the difference between the two. Remember that both of these systems require you splicing into the ecu. Some dealerships may be anal about that if you are getting work done by them. Thats the only reason I went with the Mazdaspeed CAI. I only have 8400 miles on my car so I still have a lot of warranty left. Didn't want to give the dealership any type of excuses for not working on my car.

I think you are talking about the bypass module from RPM.

I believe thats just to temporary remove the black box. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you still have to splice the wires from the black box to the ecu.

If you are worried about the warranty follow my advice in my previous post. If you are wanting the best increase in performance from an intake then CPE is your ticket.
