I had never done any type of car modifications when I installed the CPE w/ MAFci. I was a little nervous but it went alot smoother than I expected. I originally used the Scotch clips provided by CPE but later had them soldered into place when I was having other mods done.
You DO need to cut one wire and place a connection on each end(whether you use the Scotch clips or solder). The only way I can see to get this back to stock would be to solder it back together.
