I have been enjoying my cpe intake for 5k now. I was wondering when should I clean the filter, also where can I buy a spare one and a cleaning kit. Thanks. :goon:

Just like any filter when it's dirty clean it. I'm not sure if there is a recommended mileage to clean it, but a lot would depend on the area you live in. You can get the cleaning kit from CP-e.

You can also use the K&N cleaning kit if its more convienient to purchase. Turns the filter reddish-pink, but will work just the same.

If I may offer an alternative opinion. After seeing how dirty my MAF was, I switched from the the aFe cotton gauze filter to an AEM Dryflow filter. How about considering switching to the Dryflow so you don't have to worry about fouling the MAF if you overoil the filter after cleaning.
