I am about to order the CAI and BOV kit from CP-E. I was wondering if anyone that has the BOV kit can tell me what kind of trouble you have to go through to install it. Any welding involved, etc? I see they have a flange they built for the BOV, but what kind of labor am I going to go through installing this. I have never welded anything in my life and was told BOV's usually get welded on. Any info on this would be appreciated.

The BOV kit is a direct bolt-on :yesnod:
Pretty much allintakes are the same for the Speed6.
Design wise, the Fujita is a on piece pipe, which is good.
The only even somewhat tricky part to the BOV install is the snap ring. Get a set of snap ring pliers and it's actually really easy.

The CAI is really simple, too. The only tricky part there is getting the silencer out, as there are 2 bolts that are really difficult to see -- you kinda have to work blindly by the feel of you hands.

Overall it's not bad at all dude. Go slow, be careful, go slow, think, and go slow.

As what he said about the silencer, i think its a 14MM bolt I had to use a 6inch extension for the lower bolt on the left side of it, I installed my CAI friday.. Silencer was a pain till i took off the tire.. I would recommend taking off the tire and it should be pretty easy to move around and get the silencer out

man you aren't kidding aboutthe snap ring...what a PITA!!!! I tried a pair of 45 degree neddlenose and worked on it for over an hour until i finally went up the road to a mechanic and borrower his snap ring pliers. Took me less than 15 seconds....do what 666s says!
it seems to be with this car that all the CAI's are pretty much the same...my question is if you have the fujita intake and get the CPE tuning solution when it comes out, is the tuning going to be far off since cpe is obviously using their CAI for an intake? To be able to save 130 bucks seems worth it to me if the tuning solution will work with the fujita???????

also, fujita now has a dyno sheet on their website if u haven't seen it
