My OEM rear shocks are going out so I'm in the market for a suspension upgrade.
I'll be getting new wheels simultaneously so I figured if I'm improving fitment I may as well compliment it with lower springs. V2 Corksport springs seem like they'd give a good drop that isn't too low and the B8s would work well with the ~1.5in drop.

The total for springs+shocks landing around $800 has me wondering though If I'd be better off shelling out a bit more for a decent set of coilovers so I'd like other opinions on if they would be worth the extra cost.

Stay the eff away from anything CS resells. Either do it right or dont do it at all. For that price point just get some GodSpeed MonoSS's and call it a day.

CS resells
What’s wrong with CorkSport products?
They dont make anything they sell. A few of us have even found where they source some stuff from and get it directly saving well over $100 on the underdrive pulley alone.
Sure, if you wanna trust your turbo to a CS intake, thats fine, but id never run anything suspension related when they dont even resell name brand stuff like H&R or Eibach.

I’d had both BCRacing Coilovers and Corksport lowering springs, currently running B8 with Corksport lowering springs. The BC were great with overall adjustments, but it was too stiff on the ride. I’d had about 40k miles so far on Corksport lowering spring still rides like a champ.
