Awesome, thanks.. I'll be sure to update this if i find any more..
Hmmm.... those Miata wheels on the red 6 look actually pretty good!
does anyone know would you have to roll the fenders if you used the CX-7 wheels?
Awesome. Ive wanted black speed6 rims on my redfire 6s for a while but didn't know if it would work. Now I'm deffinetly going to look into it.
My wheels aren't posted lol

Nice summary, thanks for taking the time. Some data:

The oem 16's & 17's are 7"wide, with 60 mm offset, and weigh heavy, at 23 lbs.

The Rx7 wheels are 16" x 8" x 50 mm offset. They only weigh ~15-16 lbs, and are great for auto-x.

I run the 5 spoke Mazda 3 wheels, 16" x 6.5" x 52.5 mm offset. I wanted a bit softer ride, with better winter traction for the occasional winter snow. Car still corners great, thanks to 22.5 mm rear Steeda sway bar upgrade.

16's are a 55mm offset, the 17's are a 60mm. ;)

The 1st year FD wheels were actually only 13.8 pounds a piece. But they were not very strong, and are known to crack. I wouldnt risk running a set of those in Auto-X as even the FD guys are pretty quick at replacing them. The 94+ FD wheels are stronger, but with that, weigh 15 pounds.

Thanks for the correction. I was thinking the 16"x7" alloys with 60mm offset were oem for the 6i, but it was the 6.5" x 16" steel wheels that were oem, with 55mm offset. The 16" x 7" alloys were an option for the 6i.

Yes, the 94+ wheels had spokes with thicker walls at the back side, but I don't think that increased the weight that much. I still have updated spare wheels from HPDE's, and they weigh 16lbs.

I recall when I weighed the weaker wheels and they were at or slightly below 15 lbs. I still have them on my dd FD, no cracks. But I agree, not to be used in Autox or any track events.
