Hey fellow gearheads.....

Im new to the forums, I own a 2003 Mazda 6I auto transmission and i need help!!! My CEL is on and my car will start, but the engine will rev erratically and sometimes stall but start back up...then after about 3 mins, it will idle somewhat smooth. When i put the car in drive and start going, sometimes it will buck a little then run fine. Then while im driving its fine, but when i decelerate and ease up on the gas a bit, the RPM needle drops to 0 and the motor loses power, then kicks back on. I ran the OBDII diagnostic and it pulled a P0340, P0300, P2177 and P2178 codes. I replaced the camshaft position sensor due to the P0340 code, but there is no difference at all. What could be doing this? I really dont want to get raped in labor fees...

ok. originally i thought the cam sensor was causing the misfires and lean condition, but i guess i can eliminate the cam sensor problem and look somewhere else. Is propane the best way to check leaks? and lastly, how do u guys remove a hose thats really stuck on there after you remove the clip? some of my hoses seem like they will just not budge to come off the connector haha.
