I searched and didn't really find anything...

Some how my tint guy was putting new tint on my front window and popped it off

I'm talking about the metal cover (that your foot stomps on)

Is there a trick to get these things back on? The rubber lip that curls over the pedal is nearly impossible to bend. I can only get about 75% of the thing on and the rest is history.

I struggled with the same thing, but i think heating it up might make the rubber on the back a little more flexible so i was thinking about trying that next.

Well, i tried everything above and it was still not helping. So what i did was pop on some music that gets me pumped up and a bit aggressive and got me one of these

Which seemed to work good.

The trick is to start at the top and work down to the bottom using your fingers until you literally are hurting the tip of them getting the rubber around the bottom corners.

Get the rubber lips to the bottom corners and then use that tool (can opener, aka something with a HOOK end, i personally used a beer bottle opener that had a hook on the end) to pull the rubber over the metal edge of the pedal. I was thinking about using some type of lubricant but i figured it would just come back off easier than it being dry, so i did this all dry.

Took me about a half hour and some messed up fingers but i got it on...
