So, I'm not exactly sure what to call this so I couldn't do a proper search. But the LED on the left climate control knob went out last week. I believe it is an LED. I have no clue, or maybe it's a blown fuse? But then the others would go out as well? I'm really just looking for any input on what it could be. Two weeks prior to this light going out, I did my halos (tapped into parking lights). All lights were working fine after that, so I didn't think it was that but maybe it could be.

Edit: Just searched and found a thread regarding the same issue on an 04 model. Said bulb just went out, so I'm checking to see if bulbs match from 04 to 06 model.

have the same issue, i posted a topic a while ago. I haven't gotten a chance to fix it, but i'm pretty sure the bulbs are out.

the bulbs in the climate control are NOT led, but are screw-in bulbs with a silicone cap on them to give them their color. Its easy to replace. Just remove your dash, and look at the climate control box. you can access the bulbs without opening the circuit board (for your convinience). just twist and pop them out. Don't remember what bulbs they are, and haven't been able to find a replacement. But i can supply a picture of the bulbs if you give me a minute.... as soon as i figure out how to attach images, lol

Edit: so you can see, there are 5 bulbs in there. there's a picture of the curcuit board and the holes they go though, but i can assure you you don't need to open them up that far. you can still remove the bulbs with the board still covered. 3 bulbs have an amber colored silicone cap, and the other 2 has... some other color. not too sure. you probably can swap them with LED's if you want, but they'll have to fit in the same twist-and-lock bulb base as these. i'm not too sure where you can get them. if you find out, let me know :D

You can check with McMaster (NJ) for bulbs and whatnot. I got the silicone covers from them a long time ago to change the bulb color.
