I Have a 2010 Mazda 6 GTI4 withe the lux package. I want to change the dome light in the back and the two map lights in the front to white LED lights. First. What type of light is it and Second how do you remove the cover to get to the lights. Thanks

all u need to remove the cover is a flathead screw driver or something similar. There are little gaps in the covers that allow u to stick the flathead in and pop them out. Its the same for the map,dome,and door lights. I replaced the lights in my car as well, these are the lights I bought and they fit fine.

3022-xHP4 High Power LED Festoon Bulb Specifications

Make sure u get the 3022-xHP4, those are the lights that fit.

Door lights
921-x12 Wedge Base bulbs Specifications

The 921-x12 are the lights I bought, they are a tight fit but they do fit. The 921-x9 might be a better fit.

ya all 3 are the same. the front 2 map lights and the back dome light are the same. the door lights are the only different ones but if u aren't changing those u have nothing to worry about.

If you got a solderless breadboard, some brite white leds, and the proper resistors you can solder up your own LEDS in Domes, Consoles, glovebox etc you u know what you're doing electrically
