<_< hi all,
this my first time here, and i hope this a start of beautiful friendship.

i have a small problem with my Mazda 6 2006 MT. 2.3L

i bought this car just three months ago, at that time i didn't notice that the previous owner had removed the catalytic converter. after using it for some time the check engine light lighted up and the car stalls when shifting at minimum RPM (700-1500 rpm) and it feels some times when i press my foot on the paddle to the floor like there's no torque.

i took the car to a mechanic and he told that the Oxygen Sensor (bank 1 - sensor 2) is malfunctioning and needs to be relaced.

my question: is there any fix for this????????????

can any one help me. any suggestions?

If there is no catalytic converter and rear O2 sensor is attached to the pipe, then you might need to put O2 sensor spacer/fouler to fool the ECU (just to differentiate the mV readings between front and rear sensor).

Ask the mechanic what code he pulled after scanning it for CEL.
