Greetings NC/SC 6ers! I'm wondering if there is is an ACTIVE Carolina Mazda 6 Club? IF SO, could someone post the info here. IF NOT, would you all like to START ONE? I look forward to your responses!

no specific 6 club, but CarolinaMazdas can be found here for now https://www.facebook.com/groups/396615883704173/

not as active as we once were but i hope to be. the only big meet on the horizon is a weekend in DealsGap/Gatlingburg.

The Charlotte guys get together weekly for dinner and go to C&C monthly.

join the group and introduce yourself.

Also in South Carolina here. Near Charleston.

Mount Pleasant has their own version of cars and coffee, I believe, though I've never been.

Interested...

Since there is NO OFFICIAL Mazda 6 Club in NC/SC...you guys interested in getting it started? We can simplify the process:

1) Meet Twice a year, location by Poll or Rotation (i.e. like the 3rd Saturday in May and September, for example)

2) Whoever suggests or lives is the HOST Destination proposes the Host Hotel, Main Activity, and coordinates the FOOD (Cook out, catered, or restaurant)

3) Pay per Event OR pay per Year (i.e. Use PayPal to collect the fees) - Amount to be discussed / determined.

4) Decide on Group Name (i.e. Mazda6Club of The Carolinas, Carolina Mz6 Club, etc.)

What do you think? Any other suggestions? Thanks (in advanced) for your comments and suggestions.

My life tends to be quite busy, with 2 young children and everything else going on. Not really sure if I'd have time for traveling to parts of NC/SC...but will keep my ears open on this!
I'm in a similar boat (have 3 young kids). Given an opportunity close by I would try to make it if I had time but traveling very far is out for me.. I will also be on the lookout for more info on this though!

I'm in CLT...where in NC are you? I have one 12-yo, however I know 2 or more can be a "logistical" challenge :wink2:.

I empathize with your situation. That's why IF we did Charlotte, it would be at Great Wolf Lodge or Carowinds Campgrounds, OR if in SC, I was thinking Myrtle Beach to ensure we can enjoy our young ones, and they can enjoy being with us. Thanks for the "open ears". We will see what can come of this. I will likely ask for PMs to collect info from interested parties

Definitely not easy to make plans with 3 kids. :frown2: I'm in Greensboro area about 1.5 hours from Charlotte. The only time I'm down that way is just visiting family and we take the wife's car because she has the three child seats in it and they are too much of a pain to remove/install. For now we are fairly boring folks whose schedule is governed by kids' activities...

Unfortunately, mine is no longer street legal:

I do run at Carolina Motorsports Park occasionally.

No FORMAL INs or OUTs. I have you all listed here, so I'll keep in touch. ONE DAY we will do something together...like a trek through the Appalachian Mountains. Until then...K.I.T. right here!
