i have a 2003 mazda 6 sub model s and when i accelerate my car pulls to the right. this problem has been getting worse over time so i finally figured i should get it checked out so i started by getting my alignment checked. i took it to a tire place so they could check my alignment they did my alignment and i still had the same problem i took it back and they took a second look and said that my motor mounts were bad. i dont want to just start changing my motor mounts if i dont have to any suggestions would be great. thanks

What were the alignment specs? You should have gotten a printout with the final values of camber, caster, and toe. Posting up that information may be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

I can think of no reason bad motor mounts would create a "pull" to one side or another.

if it ONLY happens when you accelerate it is torque steer. I believe all of the 03 and 04 s have it, and some 05's.
