I would really like to know the Mazda 6 invoice price in Canada. I need this to get a fair negotiation when the car arrives in showrooms. I promise not to use it at the dealer you work at!!! Seriously though, can anyone give me this information? Thanks in advance.

You're asking Mazda dealers and salespeople to provide with the invoice price on a car that hasn't even arrived in Canada yet?

I'll let you know when I stop laughing! Our dealership has had dozens of enquiries about the Mazda6. There is a huge pent up demand for the vehicle. What relevance do you think the invoice price is going to have?

true, This car will create a big hit when avaible. I don't think any dealership will discount this car same as P5 last year. You are lucky you can get a car without waiting.

M6 is right, forget a rebate on that car. The car was so popular at the Montreal's Car show that I had to wait until they close the entry at that show to take some pictures and try it... a couple of time. I'm so exited about that car!

at least as a starting point.

Unless you must have a car on the first day, I wouldn't accept that you'll be paying above MSRP - there is too much competition in this segment.

Read http://www.carbuyingtips.com for negotiating strategies and a lot more resources for pricing. Unfortunately, most of it is for the US - I don't know how Canadian prices compare (if prices in Canada aren't simply 1.6x US prices, then you're probably getting a better deal then we are or the models aren't comparable...which would be surprising)

to know if this car will have a discount, you'll have to use the APA so they'll help you calculate the most reasonable price for the car. But of course, in order to do that, you'll have to wait until this car is out. for more info about the apa, go to http://www.apa.ca
