I was checking the break reservoir cap making sure it was tight. I noticed that when it is screwed down all the way just lightly pushing on the side of the cap makes it lean over, then it popped off easily.

Is the cap supposed to come off when it is knocked to the side or is mine broken?

How did you break your brake master cylinder cap? Is that what you are trying to say?
