I have 60k on the car and was thinking of upgrading the brakes. I have looked at Corksport and Power Stop K8067 Z23 kit. Any preferences or experiences with either?

Get the Z23 pads from CarID (both sets for less than fronts from AutoZone) and Centric rotors from TireRack. I went with Centric cause they anodized the non braking surface areas and says they test them to over 400 hours of salt water exposure. PowerStop only coats them with a invisible coating that no one can really prove works or not. The process Centric goes through gets all the way inside all the crevices. I highly suggest moving to DOT 4 fluid too cause youll find yourself braking later cause, well, now you can That puts more heat into the brakes and eventually can boil the DOT3 easier.

I agree, the Z23 are great pads, good bite, never felt them fade (I'm still on stock rotors for now, 42k mi, but may get something slotted for the look of it)
Also, @TalonTsi90 is right, fluid is key, but go for DOT 5.1, I use this and it has been solid and not too expensive :https://amzn.to/3u49nks

Note: DOT 3, 4, 5.1 are all cross-compatible, do not use DOT 5 it is different

I'm in the middle of testing that lol. I've used Centric for years and they start to rot out pretty horribly after a few years up here. I'm giving the PowerStop with GeoMet a shot this time, though it's not an apple-to-apples comparison because I'm not driving nearly as much as I had been so they're not getting as exposed.

Those rears in the link above were on there (I think) about 5 years with the final year being at a new job where my commute dropped 99% in distance.

Well, i mean 400 hours is a finite number, but i dont expect them to last more than 2-3 years, so im not worried, but the rain around here...so i want the holes coated too.

I'm currently using the Power Stop geomet front and rear rotors, along with the Z17 brake pads for daily driving. They work decently for the money but my rears are getting odd wear. I started getting wobble last year when braking at highway speeds. Took it to the shop yesterday and they say my rear outer brake pads are wearing out faster than the inner. Brakes/rotors currently have about 30K miles on them. Are they holding out good for you so far? I'm debating on purchasing them again or trying something else that's good for the money. Regardless, this brake system for my 2017 Mazda6 Touring does not seem adequate and should of been slightly bigger from the factory.

I put new tires on yesterday and looked closer at the rears and over half the pad still remains, just like the fronts. Thats top notch in my book. The only other brakes i had last like this, were on my 1990 Talon TSi AWD, i got 30k+ out of them delivering pizza. Now, thats not near the abuse i...
