Hey folks,
Just wondering if anybody had an opinion on this. I've noticed that both my front rotors have a bit of dark discoloration, in a ring shape. There are no other symptoms -- the car stops fine, doesn't seem to be binding, no pedal shimmy, no wobblying stops, no squealing.

Just some discoloration. Any thoughts on what it might be, or whether I should be worried? The lugs are torqued to 90 ft-lbs.... I did that myself after the last service (it was snowing here at the time, so I broke down and brought the car into the dealer).

Here's a picture I lifted from the RX-8 club, photography credit goes to user Toxin440: http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=83484

My brakes looks like this also. Ideas? Comments?

Thanks,
Test_Drive
