Hi All. I have a question about bleeding the brakes after a fluid change for 2016+ Mazda 6s with electronic parking brake (EPB). Does one have to put the EPB in maintenance mode when bleeding the brake fluid? I'm asking for all bleeding methods (e.g., 2-person, pressure bleeder, vacuum bleeder, etc.) knowing that pressure/vacuum is ideal, but knowing that it may not be accessible to some individuals. Can I bleed the brakes using any of listed methods without putting the EPB in maintenance mode?

Has nothing to do with the braking system in as much as its only connected to the caliper. Same as not disconnecting the reg parking brake on any other car.
