like it says, got the gauge installed but i'm only holding at around 13psi at WOT. senario, 2nd gear at 3300 rpm and just cruising along...floor it...gauge will spike to 15-16psi then instantly drop and hold at 10-13psi. shift to 3rd it will spike again 14-15psi then hold 10-13 again. I have only had the gauge installed for a day and my car seems to have the "some days strong, some days so so" effect so maybe this was a so so day (still don't know why it does that).

any thoughts on what might be the issue for not getting a solid 16psi? I do have an extended warranty and no I have not gone to the dealer with the issue yet. I have a trip this weekend so I'll deal with them next week but for now I'd like to get some of yalls thoughts. thanks.

Sounds normal to me. Assuming you have the stock tune, boost tapers down from ~16 PSI after ~5000 RPM. Also, weather affects how much boost you make. The stock tune targets load/torque using MAF and may not need as much boost on cooler (denser air) days to achieve the load targets.

stock tune, it was probably 75-78 outside today on my way home from work. would a better BPV/BOV help at all or is the turbo itself the cause?
