Got my sub and amps installed a couple months back. I added deadener around the trunk/back seat area and the only vibration I had was the license plate - no biggy. However, after a couple of months now, the taillight assembly is rattling like a bugger. Its on the same side the sub ensloure is installed on. And the inside area where the taillights are was covered completely.

Has anyone had this occur ? I'm thinking about removing the assembly and adding covering between it and the sheetmetal.

Thanks much !!!!

Actually, IIRC, mine does this as well.

Only happened when I was testing the dynamat so I didn't worry about it.

The only thing I can think of that would help would be adding a rubber spacer between the assembly and the body, but that would force them to stick out, which would be unacceptable.

I had to remove one of the tails to clean motor oil out that kept seeping over time (farking mechanic spilled oil on the car when walking by it; jagass).

There's a slight chance that the lamp's internals may be making the noise, which would make it harder to kill . . .
