The OEM is a plastic pos, so ya upgrading the bov on these cars is def more reliable. I blew mine apart after 10k miles and that was just normal driving, no track.

any bov you guys recommend for this car ?

There's about a gazillion posts about this topic, but the OEM (stock) BPV is by far hte best performing you can have. There are those that are more Blingy and yet so slow to react that they hold enough pressure in the manifold to make a really loud whoosh when it finally releases. There are lots of opinions but the FACT remains that stock is best with this part.

Yeah, unless you have a known issue with yours, or $250 burning a hole in your pocket & the need for more noise, no need to change the OEM BPV.

My original "plastic pos" is doing fine at ~45,000 miles (knocks wood...).

If your gonna get one anyway, and a lot of folks do, asking which is best is always entertaining. The answers go along the lines of "I spent my money on "BPV Super Valve X" so it's the best, it even cures cancer in folks in the cars around me it's so good"

What Forzda stated is absolutle truth. I believe, in fact, that some of the valves on the market for this car perform so poorly they are not but a nuisance.
