After i got my subs installed. black tap underneath my spoiler has been cut? or became loose? can i just cut these tape out if they are not important?

Had some sticking out from underneath my spoiler as well, just cut it off with a razor, but it wasn't alot.

I think they put that between the spoiler and the trunk so it doesn't damage the paint if you were to take the spoiler off / put it back on. Or just from vibration over time.
