Please give your comments below. I am planning on purchasing this tire for my unmounted RX8's. It is the best one I could find on tirerack.com.. Even better than the ultra-high performance SUMMER tires as this is an Ultra-performance all season tire!

Please give comment folks! :)

i hope the HTRZIII's are better then the HTRZII's. my last set of tires were the II's, and hands down the worst set of tire's ive ever owned. everyone said the parada spec 2's were nothing but a show tire, and useless for performance. well anyone that thinks that, need to drive the HTRZII's. i wont ever even bother purchasing another Sumitoma after that.

Well what do you guys think of the tire above? It is quite cheap and it is rated as a really good tire?

Hmmm

I thought the original tire size for the RX8 rim is 225/45R18 am I mistaken?
Yeah that may be the original tire size for the RX8, but we're taking about the Mazda6.

Plenty of people run the 225/45/18 with the RX8 rim without a problem. Stock tire size on the 17" wheel is 215/50/17 (and it seems that you have the stock 17" wheels), which is closer in size to 235/40/18 than 225/45/18. Don't believe me? Check the calculator.

Makes perfect sense now. Another friend verified that you are in-fact correct in this regard. I apologize for my ignorance before.

Have you run into any rubbing issues with the tires at all? I am just about ready to purchase the Sumitomo's within the next hour or so.

Thanks for heads up - 235-40-18 :)
