So it's finally spring, and the snow tires are in the basement. A great time of year to take the long way home!

So, I'd like to hear everyone's favourite twisty sections around the GTA/Southern Ontario.

Some of my personal favourties:

Around Niagara:
- Hwy 8 from Jordan Station to 7th St. Louth.
- Hwy 69 (a.k.a 20 Mile Road) from St. Ann's to Hwy 24.
- Balfour Road from Hwy 20 to Pelham Road

Further north:
- Hwy 118 from Hwy 11. to Haliburton
- Kennesis Lake Rd from West Guilford to Kennesis Lake

Suggestions anyone?

  • [a]New mountian road in Stoney Creek - steep decent/rise depending on direction of travel with very tight fast corners
Jersey Ville Road in Ancaster - rapid drop into a tight S bend followed by a rapid climb
[c]Crooks Hollow in Dundas - subtle rises and falls (can be unpredicatable) with long corners and bends in the road.
[d]Sulfur springs road in Ancaster - steep decent/rise with SHARP 90 deg turns, followed by more curves. Followed by straight roads with moderate rise and falls, and topped off with a long 3/4 mile strip. BUCKETS F FUN!
[e]Old Dundas Road in Ancaster/Dundas - hilly twisty roads....slower speeds

forks of the credit rd. near Bellfountain. the pigs love to root around there but it is an amazingly fun road.

old Hwy 10 north from Kingston to Westport (Division St. exit off the 401). recently paved. it's twisty as hell. breathtaking.
